Positive set of results for Hellmann UK

LOGISTICS firm Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK has seen revenue in its air freight increase by 20% on a year on year basis.

The firm, which has a large distribution facility at Fradley Park near Lichfield, has seen “significant progress” across all of its divisions: air, ocean, logistics and road operations

Air freight revenue is up by 20% on last year’s figures while shipments increased by 7% and volume increased by 19% compared to last year.

The company’s sea freight division also had a positive year with turnover up by 11% on last year.

Hellmann UK also saw perishables and beverages logistics exceed budget, continuing to develop in line with respective plans put into place

And in a year that has also seen the company’s road freight operation complete a major restructure, the product has showed signs of benefiting from the new business model and ambitious growth strategy

Andy Connor, managing director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, said: “We are delighted to confirm a very positive result from Hellmann UK for the last financial year despite various challenges.

“We’re looking to build on our success and take our positive approach into what could also prove to be a challenging 2015. However, we are confident that if we continue to work and develop as we have then the next year will see us maintain our progression and produce similarly positive results.”
