Nasmyth Group to target aerospace sector from new US base

MANUFACTURER Nasmyth Group is to open a North American regional headquarters in California to support its growing customer base there.
 
The Coventry-based supplier of precision engineering, products and services, has acquired a 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Burbank, California – located immediately adjacent to the premises of subsidiary, Nasmyth TMF – which will become the focal point for Nasmyth Group and its corporate activities in the US.
 
Chairman and CEO of Nasmyth Group, Peter Smith, said: “The opening of our regional headquarters is an important milestone in the implementation of our global investment strategy.

“We see a high level of ongoing demand in North America for the full range of precision products, engineering services and metal treatments that Nasmyth Group offers across a range of market sectors.

“Having a permanent regional headquarters office will undoubtedly help us to expand our current business operations in the USA and Canada, especially in the aerospace sector.”
