Masters awards attracts another celebrated sponsor

BIRMINGHAM’S Hotel La Tour has signed up as a sponsor for our West Midlands Business Masters Awards 2015.

It is sponsoring the Ambassador category and follows in the footsteps of Birmingham Airport, which is sponsoring the Large Exporter category, Black Country law firm Higgs & Sons (Newcomer award) and MHA Bloomer Heaven (SME Manufacturer award).

Natalie Murison, the hotel’s sales director, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be supporting the West Midlands Business Masters Awards this year.

“As a hotel that is in constant contact with local business, we see the importance of celebrating our area’s achievements in all industries and we feel these awards offer that opportunity for companies and individuals alike.”

Hotel La Tour, based in Albert Street near Moor Street station, will also be staging the judging session for the Masters next week.

It is also offering a special room rate for those attending the Masters awards. A single occupancy room will cost £85 on the night with a £10 supplement for double occupancy. Call 0121 718 8000 or email reservations@hotel-latour.co.uk to take advantage of the offer. Quote Business Desk Awards to get the special price.

It must be booked 14 days in advance.

The awards ceremony will be staged at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on the evening of Thursday June 11. It will build on the success of last year’s event and once again the winners will be announced at a high-end black-tie dinner.

There are 11 awards this year, including popular categories covering manufacturing and exporting – both split into two to cater for larger businesses and SMEs – and innovation.

There are also awards for successful performance by listed companies and for businesses running apprenticeship schemes.

The Pride category, which rewards efforts in the CSR field, is always popular as is the Ambassador category which rewards a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the business sector and regional economy over the last year.

Andy Coyne, editor of TheBusinessDesk.com in the West Midlands, said: “I’m delighted that Hotel La Tour has joined Birmingham Airport, Higgs & Sons and MHA Bloomer Heaven as a sponsor of our Masters Awards.

“Attracting such prestigious names shows the respect in which our awards are held.

“The Masters awards are starting to gather momentum and I would urge companies to consider sponsoring one of the remaining categories and to get their tables booked for the big night on June 11.”
