Staffs law firm offers dispute resolution service

LICHFIELD law firm Ansons Solicitors has launched a dedicated dispute resolution service for businesses from its office in Breadmarket Street. 

Jagdip Bains, an experienced litigator, has moved to Lichfield from Ansons’ Cannock office to spearhead the new service.

It will offer legal advice on a wide range of disputes, such as breach of contract, bad debts, professional negligence or disputes between partners or shareholders.

Bains has particular expertise in regard to construction and property related disputes, including between landlord and tenants over issues such as lease renewals.

She said: “Not all disputes have to end up in court. Often a letter from your solicitor may be all that you need to resolve a dispute before it gets out of hand.” 

Conscious that many businesses are concerned about the cost of legal fees in a dispute, the Ansons dispute resolution team has developed a range of fixed or capped pricing options for small businesses.
