St Modwen refurbishes Cannock business park

BIRMINGHAM developer St Modwen is investing in a programme of refurbishment at its Watling Street Business Park in Cannock.

It has re-clad the 48,632 sq ft Unit 16 – the largest of the three remaining units at the business park – and a new amenity and toilet block has been constructed.

The business park is on the A5, close to the M6 Toll junction T7 and M6 junction 11.

Jonathan Green, development surveyor at St Modwen, said: “At St Modwen we operate a programme of investment across all our developments to ensure we maintain high standards of quality, management and security and meet with our tenant’s expectations.

“Watling Street is in a prime location and enjoys a great reputation with tenants and within the wider market, with a significant number of long-term tenants alongside national firms who have chosen to put a base here to capitalise on the superb transport links.”

Watling Street comprises more than 130,000 sq ft of industrial, warehousing and open storage accommodation.

Existing tenants at the business park include Go Direct, Medical Gas Solutions, Allied Scaffolding, PRM Green Technologies and Peppermill Antiques.
