Industrial park deal for Cushman & Wakefield

THE Birmingham office of Cushman & Wakefield has secured a letting at an industrial park in Nottingham.

The firm has completed a deal with Century Logistics for unit 4 at Sabre Industrial Park, which is located on the Colwick Industrial Estate to the east of Nottingham.

Unit 4 is a ten-year-old industrial warehouse of 44,972 sq ft, one of five that make up Sabre.

Sabre landlord Park Industrial and Agricultural Holdings are also based at the site.

Century Logistics is a transport and warehousing firm based at Little Saxham, Bury St Edmunds. The company has signed a five-year lease for the warehouse, its first outside of the South East.

Century was founded by Stephen Basey-Fisher, who started his career renting out buildings on the family farm in Essex.

Ed Kennerley, of Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial team, said: “Sabre is made up of good quality modern buildings and is a location which gives good accessibility to the rest of the Midlands.

“This is Century’s first venture in the Midlands and they found that Sabre suited them very well, in terms of its location and also the high specification of the buildings there.”

Joint agents with Cushman & Wakefield on the scheme are Innes England.
