RAC appoints National Windscreens as sole glass provider

TAMWORTH-based National Windscreens, the UK’s largest independently owned windscreen replacement and repair specialist, has signed a two year supply contract with the RAC.
 
The new deal means National Windscreens is now the sole glass provider for the RAC’s fleet of 1,500 patrol vehicles, as well as for all vehicles covered by the company’s accident management division.

National Windscreens’ regional sales and marketing director Martyn Bennett, said: “Our ability to offer a quick, high-quality service is valued by all of our customers, but especially fleet clients whose businesses can lose revenue if vehicles are off the road for too long.”
 
Roadside assistance service RAC Breakdown has more than seven million members and in 2014 the RAC’s patrol force attended to 2.3 million rescue breakdowns.

No financial valuation has been put on the contract.
