Officebroker expands into new Tamworth premises

TAMWORTH firm Officebroker has moved into new premises on Relay Point after securing £1.6m of financial backing from Royal Bank of Scotland and its asset finance arm Lombard.

The move sees Officebroker relocate from its old office in Robert Peel Mill to a new building which incorporates modern interiors and open plan office space.

The firm, which employs 35 people, will be located on the ground floor. Additional office space is provided on the first and second floors, and is being made available to Officebroker clients.

Officebroker was established 14 years ago by directors Andy Haywood and Jim Venables. It is an independent office space provider offering an online broker service to businesses seeking serviced office space to rent in the UK.

It currently finds office space for clients in more than 2,500 buildings across the UK.

Haywood said: “We are delighted with our modern location which will benefit both our clients and employees. Tamworth is an up and coming town and it’s important that local businesses have access to offices that are designed with a modern and fresh feel.

“The town has been in need of a quality and modern office solution, and we are really happy to be expanding our business at Relay Point.”

Jas Sandhu, relationship director at Royal Bank of Scotland, added: “Officebroker has a clear vision for growth and we have been working closely to support their aspirations and provide a full funding package to assist them with this move.”
