Heavyweight agent joins Burley Browne

PROPERTY consultancy Burley Browne has appointed well-known agent Mark Fitzpatrick to lead its business space, industrial and logistics team.

Formerly at Bilfinger GVA and with a career spanning 25 years, Fitzpatrick has acted on behalf of developers including St Modwen, Prologis and Hortons’ Estate. He has also gained experience with Chesterton, CBRE and Cecil Cariss.

Burley Browne has offices in both Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield.

David Hemming, director at Burley Browne, said: “We have experienced a real increase in the level and quality of enquiry for business space and Industrial accommodation this year.

“Mark has worked with some substantial clients, private and public sector, on both disposals and acquisitions. He has acted on a range of schemes including Longbridge with St Modwen and Bass Developments at Centrum Burton upon Trent.  His arrival will considerably strengthen the advice and service Burley Browne can provide within this specialist sector.”

Fitzpatrick added: “Having worked in large agencies for much of my career, I recognised a real opportunity at Burley Browne. They are hugely ambitious, pay a lot of attention to the quality of work and service delivery.

“I’m confident I can make a positive impact and significantly enhance their position within this improving sector.”
