Law firm George Green leads on local IT sector deal

A CORPORATE team from Black Country law firm George Green has advised Convergence Group on its acquisition of Networks First.

No monetary value has been placed on the deal.

Solihull-based Convergence Group, founded in 2004, services the IP and network requirements of national and international businesses. It is hoped the acquisition will cement its  position as a leading player in network services.

Networks First is based In Redditch.

“It means our partners and customers will benefit from more choice and have a simpler way of meeting all of their connectivity needs in one place.”

The deal was led for George Green by Philip Round who said:  “We are delighted to have been able to support Convergence Group on this deal as they continue to grow as one of the UK’s leading businesses in the sector.

“This is another transaction which adds to our strong start this year; I can see 2016 being a very busy year for us.”
