Consultancy creates 10 jobs with Birmingham expansion

A UTILITIES consultancy has created 10 jobs with the opening of its second office.

Coventry-headquartered Utility Team has based its SME sales operations in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. It hopes to double its Birmingham workforce in the next year, to add to its 20-strong Coventry office.

Managing director Matt Jakeman said the new Birmingham office reflects how quickly the company has grown since it was set-up in 2009.

“Utility Team works with thousands of businesses across the UK who want to get the best value from their energy contracts, reduce their consumption and minimise their carbon footprint,” he said.

“We expect this office to grow quickly as our experienced consultants help more companies save both money and time making utility decisions.”
