HomeServe expands UK network with new West Midlands franchise deal

A WEST Midlands commercial heating and plumbing firm is helping to spearhead a new nationwide expansion plan for home emergency and maintenance group, HomeServe.

Walsall-based HomeServe wants to expand its UK coverage and is phasing in a series of new franchise agreements with suitable businesses.

Minworth-based Quality Property Care has been recruited as the first of the franchisees and to service the agreement has launched a new domestic division of its own business focused on helping homeowners in Coventry and Solihull.

Quality Property Care, which provides construction and refurbishment services, will now offer boiler installations and a range of other gas-related heating services to HomeServe’s customers in the Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby, Hinckley, Solihull, Knowle and Wythall areas.

The new operation, which is branded HomeServe Coventry & Solihull, will provide services including boiler installations, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, emergency boiler repairs, power flushing, appliance services and smart thermostat installations.

Steven Keenan, managing director of Quality Property Care, said: “Entering the domestic market is an exciting new step for us as a business and we’re delighted to be joining the HomeServe family.”

Through the new HomeServe Coventry & Solihull brand, domestic heating services will be provided to homeowners in areas including Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby, Hinckley, Solihull, Knowle and Wythall.

Richard Shepherd, Chief Operating Officer at HomeServe, said: “The creation of this new partnership to form HomeServe Coventry & Solihull is an important step forward as we look to expand our franchisees across the UK.”

HomeServe franchisees also operate in the North West, Midlands, London and Yorkshire.
