The band have got the sound of New Orleans down to a T and their performances full of fun, funk and energy makes them loved around the globe. Head to the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham this weekend to be taken back to the magic of the 1960’s, a time when each week brought another Rock ‘n’ Roll classic. Save The Last Dance for Me which is written by the writers behind Birds of a Feather and Good Night Sweetheart, follow two sisters who go on holiday to the seaside together. Experience two different events this weekend at Severn Valley Railway in Worcestershire. The Spring Diesel Festival on Saturday gives you the opportunity to visit heritage and modern diesel locomotives in action and on display and there will also be the grand opening of the Kidderminster Diesel Depot. Spend your Saturday night hunting for ghosts in the spooky surroundings of Guy’s Cliffe House in Warwick. From the famous Guy of Warwick to the soldiers of the 20th century, some occupants have never left the gothic mansion and it’s your turn to meet them! The event includes a medium and history tour, vigils and a ghost hunting workshop for those new to the trade. There will also be opportunities to use spirit boards and take part in a séance.
