Motor group signs up for new headquarters

COMMERCIAL vehicle group Bevan Group is to expand into a new headquarters in Wednesbury, once it completes a £500,000 refurbishment programme.

It will move into a 21,611 sq ft property at Wednesbury One later this year, while keeping its Halesowen production facility and its second base in Oldbury.

The company will use its new headquarters as the foundation as it invests in its Aftercare Response, which is managed by a 24-strong team. The division provides planned and emergency maintenance of vehicle bodies and ancillaries, including cranes, tail-lifts and roller shutter doors.

“Our growth strategy envisages that we’ll double that number within the next five years,” said Bevan Group’s managing director Anthony Bevan.

“Rapid expansion of the business has meant that we’ve employed more and more colleagues with the result that we’ve now outgrown our current head office. The new base in Wednesbury will give us the extra office accommodation and car parking space we desperately need, as well as valuable additional production capacity.”

The property was let by Bulleys Chartered Surveyors on behalf of Mucklow.
