Birmingham Pride is back for another year and it’s set to be one big party! Join the colourful, upbeat parade at midday from Victoria Square which will finish by the Birmingham Hippodrome on Saturday. Across the two days, there will be a whole range of entertainment at various venues across the city centre. Fancy being on the TV this weekend?! Dickinson’s Real Deal is coming to Coventry, so if you’ve got any decent antiques in the attic, this is the perfect occasion to see if you can get any cash for them. Independent valuers will be there all day to offer advice on your items and who knows, you could be quids in and have the rest of the weekend to spend your well-earned cash. Inspired by a true story and a hit movie, the show is an uplifting tale of friendship, love and fighting for what is right. This is your chance to see how Mothers was voted the best rock venue in the world by Billboard Magazine and John Peel. On Saturday daytime, a memorabilia display will be on show at St Barnabas Church in Erdington, which is just over the road from the original site of Mothers. Over 300 items will be on display with stalls selling posters, t-shirts and records. There will also be guided tours through the history of Mothers.
