Five-car crash causing long delays on M6 near Birmingham

THERE are delays of at least 50 minutes on the M6 out of Birmingham after a five-car collision.

Two lanes are closed on the M6 northbound between junctions 6 and 7 and all emergency services attending.

Congestion is causing problems back to junction 5 and Highways England are advising motorists to consider using the M6 Toll.

9.30AM UPDATE Deleys have stretched to an hour, with traffic conditions not expected to be back to normal until 10.45am.
