Trebor gets green light for next phase of Gateway scheme

TREBOR Developments, working in conjunction with land owner ASK Developments, has secured planning consent for the next phase of its Wolverhampton Gateway project.

The consent sees the green light given to a new Costa Coffee drive-thru outlet, which will be located next door to a Porsche dealership that was opened on the site earlier this year.

Terms have been agreed, on a leasehold basis, with Costa Coffee and the development is expected to start on site within the next few months.

The coffee shop is expected to capitalise on the site’s location, which is adjacent to Junction 2 of the M54, close by the i54 business park.

Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner of Trebor Developments, said: “The Porsche dealership, which is now open and trading, looks magnificent and this new high quality design for a Costa Coffee drive-thru will complement the development at this Gateway site.”

There is now one plot remaining at the site, which extends to one acre and to which the developer is targeting potential hotel, office or roadside uses.
