Big name retailer is latest addition to £150m Resorts World

A LEADING fashion retailer has become the latest big high street name to sign up to the outlet mall at the £150m Resorts World Birmingham complex.

Shoe chain Kurt Geiger joins fellow retailers Next Outlet, GAP Outlet, H&M and Nike Factory Store at the unique 50-unit shopping facility, which adjoins the NEC complex.

Kurt Geiger first opened on London’s Bond Street in 1963 and is now one of the leading fashion shoe retailers in the country.

Operators of the mall say the arrival of the company will not be the last big name to sign up to the outlet mall, which is part of the Resorts World site, which also includes a hotel, casino, bars, restaurants and cinema.

Steve Myers, managing director of development at Genting UK said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of Kurt Geiger at Resorts World Birmingham.

“This is a great new addition to our already strong outlet shopping offering that after seven months of trading is making a positive impact on the West Midlands retail marketplace. We will continue to add new stores to our outlet shopping offer in the coming months.”
