Office and investment agents tee off in golf challenge

BIRMINGHAM’S property office agents have once again locked horns with their investment counterparts on the golf course in an annual challenge.

The ‘Propertee Cup’ – the sixth between the two which has developed into an annual affair – ended in a narrow victory for the investment agents, and came down to the last few putts on the 18th.

The overall score between the two now stands at 3-3 after the latest encounter, which took place at Edgbaston Golf Club.

The match was organised by this year’s captains David Rigby of Cushman and Wakefield and Anthony Collingwood of Collingwood Rigby with marketing support provided by Paul Carnall of CAB Studios. The event sees two teams of 12 battle it out over a 27-hole format.

Mr Rigby said: “It was a good contest between the two teams and it was good opportunity to get together, although this year all the talk was about exiting Europe, by the UK and the England football team.”

As well as the main event, there was also a ‘nearest the pin’ contest, with honours shared between Ed Jones (Blue Marble Properties), Ben Kelly (JLL), Mark Thompson (Wareing and Co) and Callum Wing (Colliers).
