London isn’t the only home to world leading tech companies with a report showing that eight Northern tech firms are now members of the billion dollar valuation club.
It’s not showing any signs of slowing down either with the tech ecosystem in the Northern England expected to rapidly expand its existing collection of billion-dollar tech companies.
According to research by tech investment bank GP Bullhound, there are eight technology companies worth over $1bn operating in the North of England, with more set to join them.
Sage remains the most valuable technology company in the North of England, with a valuation nearly twice as high as the next largest tech company, AutoTrader.
