Specialist recruiter relocates after new funding deal

A SPECIALIST recruiter has relocated to Staffordshire following a new funding deal.

Construction sector specialist PSR Solutions has moved to Prospect House in Dunston following a £1.5m redevelopment of the site.

The business was established in 2005 by James Sanders and Mark Palmer and has enjoyed rapid growth. By 2008 the business employed 10 staff and achieved its first £1m turnover. Two years later, the company opened its first London office and in June this year, its first office in Dubai. Today the company employs 63 staff across its three sites.

Managing director Mr Sanders said: “We are delighted to be opening the doors to our new head office. The premises provide a great environment for our staff and clients alike. As well as housing our recruitment team, our ancillary services such as Finance, HR and Marketing all operate from this site.

“Feedback from our staff has been fantastic which is important to us. Having staff who feel they are valued and who can play a real part in the company’s expansion is a key part of our culture.

“We have seen increased morale levels and we recognise the importance of retaining staff who give a vital contribution to the business.”

Funding for the development of the site on Stafford Road was provided by Barclays.

Andy Perry, Relationship Director for Barclays said: “PSR Solutions has seen rapid year on year growth since inception. Even during the recession around 2008 and despite working in an industry that has had to weather the storm, James and his team have continued to grow the business which is very commendable. I wish them every success for the future.”

In the next 10 years the business plans to have 150 staff in six offices and to have increased turnover from today’s £25m to £100m.

The firm’s clients include Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall, Barratt Homes and Wates, and it has recruited for some of the Midlands’ highest profile construction projects, including the remodelling of Birmingham’s New Street Station; the city’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital; and its iconic retail, leisure and living space, The Mailbox.
