Telecoms company rings the changes with move to new headquarters

A TELECOMS company has expanded into new headquarters in Worcestershire.

R4telecom provides support and consultancy for point-to-point radio transmission systems and designs and installs radio networks for some of the industry’s biggest organisations.

The firm, which was launched in 2003, works with clients across the UK and has moved its headquarters to Hepworth Park industrial estate in Redditch after outgrowing its previous base in Solihull.

Ron Edwards, managing director, said a period of strong growth had given the company the confidence to invest in the expansion.

“We’ve needed more space for a while now, as the company has been gradually growing in size over the last few years on the back of some big contract wins,” he said.

“The team has grown to be 22-strong, the majority of which each have in excess of 25 years’ experience in the telecoms industry.

“The opportunity for us to move the team to new premises fitted to our specification was extremely attractive and will enable us to take the company to the next level.”

R4telecom is the final tenant to move into one of seven new units at Hepworth Park.

The company was assisted in its move by law firm Wright Hassall.
