Property consultants appointed to two flagship Birmingham buildings

COMMERCIAL property consultancy Vail Williams has been appointed to two new buildings in Birmingham.

The consultancy will be representing 2800 The Crescent, Birmingham Business Park, and Cobalt Square, Hagley Road, Edgbaston – which together total 108,000 sq ft of office space.

The firm said the two instructions reflected the success of its agency team in expanding its client base.

The largest of the buildings, Cobalt Square, is owned by property investment and development company MCR Property and comprises circa 78,000 sq ft of office accommodation over 18 floors, with approximately 30,000 available to let.

The landmark building is situated on one of the main routes in and out of the city, with strong transport links acting as a lure to potential tenants.

Existing tenants include Countrywide Estate Agents, Enterprise Foundation and Towry Law Services.

The second instruction at 2800 The Crescent is for landlord London & Scottish Investments, as asset manager for Regional REIT. The 29,935 sq ft standalone property was most recently home to Severn Trent Water.

The consultancy is again highlighting the good transport links to Birmingham Business Park as a benefit to would-be tenants.

Steven Bott, associate at Vail Williams, said: “We are delighted to be appointed by both MCR Property and London & Scottish Investments to handle these significant instructions.”

Alongside Vail Williams, GVA is joint agent for 2800 The Crescent and KWB is joint agent for Cobalt Square.
