Surveyor relocates Midlands office to Birmingham city centre

CHARTERED surveyor and commercial property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has relocated its Midlands operation to a new office in Birmingham city centre.

Sanderson Weatherall has agreed a five-year lease over a whole floor at 122 Colmore Row with landlord Evenacre.  The new office is located in a Grade I Listed ‘Arts and Crafts’ building close to Birmingham Council House.

Commenting on the move, Sanderson Weatherall partner and head of the Birmingham office, Peter Fowles, said: “This office move marks the next stage in the growth of Sanderson Weatherall’s presence and activity in the Midlands and comes at an exciting time when the city and region are undergoing a renaissance not seen since the post-war era.”

The firm gained an initial presence in the Midlands in 2015 with the acquisition of Solihull-based PNF Chartered Surveyors, which was immediately rebranded as Sanderson Weatherall.
The move to the city centre means the firm will have the capacity to expand its range of services across the region.

122 Colmore Row is also home to Court, Gethar Ventures, Clive Reeves PR and Java Lounge Coffee House.

Paul Jones, managing director of Evenacre, said: “Sanderson Weatherall is exactly the type of occupier we were targeting at the time of refurbishment. Peter and his team have fully bought into our sustainable approach to office development, together with appreciating our close attention to design and detail.”

Sanderson Weatherall employs around 200 people, has a turnover of £15m and operates nationwide from offices in Newcastle, Teesside, York, Leeds, Manchester, London, Bristol and Exeter.
