Property Appointments: Richborough Estates; Stephen George + Partners; Real Estate Investors

BIRMINGHAM-based Richborough Estates has appointed Haydn Jones as a Planning Director, kick-starting a reorganisation of the company’s national approach.

Mr Jones joins Richborough from national planning consultancy Pegasus Group, where he was based for more than 10 years.

Although working on both residential and commercial schemes, his most recent experience has involved delivering residential permissions for clients, which included Richborough Estates.

His appointment comes at a time when Richborough is handling an increasing number of live projects and the firm said his arrival would help ensure the company was generating the best returns for its clients while capitalising on new opportunities.

Mr Jones will lead on planning strategy which will ultimately determine which areas of the country the business should be focused.  His role will also involve navigating a number of key sites through the planning system and leading on the ultimate disposal via competitive tender.

Karl Parkinson-Witte, Joint-Managing Director of Richborough Estates, said: “We are very pleased that he has made the decision to come and join us from Pegasus. He is a professional operator and a fantastic planner; we already know that he will fit in well with our approach to land promotion and commitment to providing the best possible returns to our clients.”
