Graphic design firm expands Birmingham operation with new office move

PRINT services and graphic design group Grafenia has expanded its Birmingham operation with a move to new offices in the heart of the city’s business district.

The Manchester-based group, previously known as Printing.com, has taken 2,500 sq ft on the ground floor of York House, on the corner of Great Charles Street and Newhall Street, which is owned by Real Estate Investors.

The deal was brokered by property agents Bond Wolfe.

Grafenia, which has agreed a ten-year lease, has relocated from its former office in Smallbrook Queensway.

York House offers 23,088 sq ft of refurbished office accommodation spread over six floors. Other occupiers include Centrick Property, H & M, Giants & Titans and ATA Group.

Bond Wolfe managing director James Mattin said York House had proved a valuable asset for the business.

“The letting to Grafenia is the latest in a run of transactions we have concluded at York House. There is just one suite remaining now as demand for this type of stock increases,” he said.

“Grafenia is a forward thinking progressive company that I am sure will benefit from this prominent location.”
