City charity appeals to business community for new trustees

Birmingham Children’s Hospital

ONE of Birmingham’s best known charities has appealed to the city’s business community for people willing to join its board of trustees.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital is looking for up to four people who can help it realise its ambitious plans for the future.

This award-winning regional charity helps to deliver projects that improve excellence in research, treatment and patient experience as the hospital strives to provide the very best care for children and families.

Following a period of significant growth, the charity is seeking a group of professionals with a demonstrable interest in child health, Birmingham Children’s Hospital in particular or the NHS in general, to help lead the organisation through the next stage in its development.

Applicants with significant experience in fundraising at a senior level, accountancy or medical research are being courted for the unpaid roles.

Applications close on November 7 and more information is available from here or by contacting Stuart Reynolds on 0300 323 1100.
