Harris Lamb delivers on distribution hub for pottery firm

HARRIS LAMB has let a warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent to leading pottery brand Emma Bridgewater on a 10-year lease.

The 38,000 sq ft unit on the Berry Hill Trading Estate, Fenton is now being used as a national distribution hub.

Andrew Groves, who heads up Harris Lamb’s Stoke office, said: “We were acting on behalf of a private landlord to market the unit, which comprises a substantial warehouse, two-storey office accommodation and a large yard area, making it an ideal storage and distribution centre.

“Thanks to its size and its good location, we had several interested parties, and the property was on the market for a very short time before Emma Bridgwater signed a ten-year lease.

“The business has grown significantly and as its current warehouse on Lichfield Street is undergoing a conversion to turn it into additional manufacturing space, this was the perfect solution for its needs.”

He said the speed of the letting was another indication of a strong Stoke-based manufacturer committing to a significant investment in the city.

The unit was marketed with a rental price of £132,500 per annum.

Emma Bridgewater was represented by Stafford-based Shearwater Rock Consultants.
