Airline launches its first winter programme from Birmingham

JET2.COM has unveiled the next phase of its plans for Birmingham Airport by launching its first winter programme.

The airline is arriving in Birmingham next year, with 15 summer routes, and has now revealed its winter programme for 2017-18.

There will be 16 routes, combining winter sun, city breaks and ski destinations.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “This is a very exciting time for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays and today’s announcement is yet another step on our ambitious growth plans from Birmingham Airport.

“The launch of flights and holidays for Summer 2017 from Birmingham Airport has been an enormous success, and we expect our first ever Winter programme to be just as popular.”

Travellers flying from Birmingham will have the choice of seven new routes – to Madeira, Grenoble, Geneva, Salzburg, Turin, Krakow and Prague – alongside nine of its summer routes, with 325,000 seats available across the winter season.
