Appointments: Lambert Smith Hampton; A & J Mucklow; Cushman & Wakefield

COMMERCIAL property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has strengthened its Birmingham office with the appointment of a new director.

Matthew Tilt has been promoted two years after joining LSH’s industrial and logistics team as associate director.

Mr Tilt specialises in disposals, acquisitions, asset management and provides strategic  advice on industrial and distribution property.  He has more than 10 years’ experience in the industrial and logistics sector, acting for funds, investors, and occupiers.

Among his most recent key deals are the acquisition of a new-build 180,000 sq ft facility at Hams Hall Distribution Park for The Works, and the letting of 102,000 sq ft at Minworth to DHL. A major instruction is the marketing of vacant units, including a 126,000 sq ft building, at Fradley Park, Lichfield on behalf of Legal & General.

JOCK Lennox, a Non-Executive Director and chairman of the Audit Committee at A & J Mucklow has stepped down from the firm’s board following the completion of its Annual General Meeting.

His intention to step down had been announced to the market in March.

Peter Hartill, a Chartered Accountant, has taken over the chairmanship of the Audit Committee, which follows on from his appointment to the boad in June.

Alan Vandrill (Associate Director), Joe Williams (Associate Director), Sally Peet (Senior Surveyor), Zoe Wood (Senior Surveyor) and Andrew Harris (Associate Director)CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD has promoted 54 staff in its UK business – including five in its Birmingham office.

Joe Williams, from the firm’s Residential team, Alan Vandrill and Andrew Harris both part of the Project Management & Consultancy team have all been promoted to an Associate.
 
Sally Peet also of the Project Management & Consultancy team and Zoe Wood from the Asset Services team are now both Senior Surveyors.
