Solihull recruitment firm in rude health after framework appointment

SPECIALIST recruitment firm, Plum Personnel has secured a place on a national Framework Agreement to provide recruitment services to the NHS.

The Solihull firm will be supporting local NHS Trusts with their recruitment needs for non-medical staff from senior to junior levels in the Solihull, Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire areas.

The firm has been working alongside NHS Trusts across the West Midlands since 2012.

Director Susie Ankrett said: “We pride ourselves on understanding the unique pressures and challenges of recruitment within the NHS and are totally dedicated to giving value for money, quality candidates and exceptional customer care.”

Following a rigorous tender and evaluation process Plum Personnel is one of just a few agencies to be awarded a place on the Total Workforce Solutions Framework through procurement specialists HealthTrust Europe.  During the selection process, Plum Personnel was assessed on its capability to meet NHS standards.

Julie Whitehouse, fellow director, said: “We had to show not only our capacity to deliver but we have also had to meet stringent quality standards.  The enhanced independent auditing process far exceeds basic NHS Employment Check Standards to ensure rigorous due diligence giving NHS Trusts peace of mind.”

The contract will run for an initial two-year period, with a possible extension of a further 12 months.

The Framework covers roles from senior to junior levels including administration, management, projects and human resources and provides the NHS with a cost effective solution to recruit talented people for office based permanent, contract and temporary roles.

“Being approved under the Framework means that Plum Personnel has been hand-picked and our success in being awarded approval is a terrific accolade. We are delighted and very proud to continue our work with the NHS,” added Ms Ankrett.
