Location: Birmingham Hippodrome, Birmingham

This month, the home of Birmingham pantomime is presenting an unmissable production of the rags-to-riches tale, Dick Whittington. Starring singer, actor, presenter and entertainer John Barrowman, soap-star Steve McFadden, legendary comedy-duo The Krankies, Matt Slack, and I’d Do Anything winner Jodie Prenger, audiences can expect plenty of laughs, outrageous costumes, colourful sets and scenery, and amazing special effects.

Date: Saturday January 14
Location: National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull

Explore over 100 tables of ceramics, vintage clothing, football & music memorabilia, furniture, paintings, vintage fishing tackle, clock, militaria, jewellery, glass, collectable toys and much more. Food and drink will also be available at the fair as well. 

Performance car show3. Performance Car Show
Date: Until Sunday January 15
Location: NEC, Birmingham

With iconic brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin and Porsche, the show is the ultimate destination for performance car enthusiasts.
The event takes place alongside leading pre-season motorsport event, Autosport International and features the dedicated Autocar Supercar and PistonHeads heroes displays, car clubs, hand-built British sports cars as well as exhibits from industry leaders.

Visitors can also enjoy high octane precision driving displays, drift teams, stunt drivers and wheel-to-wheel racing in the UK’s largest indoor race circuit. Guests will also be invited to take part in high speed action with Caterham driving experiences and arrive-and-drive karting.

Comedy4. Comedy Central Impractical Jokers
Date: Friday January 13
Location: Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham

Comedy Central’s Impractical Jokers are bringing a brand new live to Birmingham this weekend. Santiago Sent Us! Yes, Q, Murr, Joe and Sal – aka The Tenderloins – will be performing a new batch of their special blend of comedy, hi-jinx, and never-before-seen videos on stage.

The magic of motown5. The Magic of Motown
Date: Saturday January 14
Location: Belgrade Theatre, Coventry

Prepare yourself for 40 back-to-back classic Motown hits, glittering costume changes, dazzling dance moves and outstanding musicianship in this explosive concert experience. Celebrate the sound of a generation as the timeless music of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Jackson 5, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and many more are recreated by a talented cast and band.
