Sweet – new visitor record for Cadbury World

BIRMINGHAM tourist attraction Cadbury World, finished 2016 on a high after achieving a new visitor record for December.

The Bournville attraction welcomed more than 44,000 visitors to its Christmas events last month – a 2% increase on the previous year’s figures.  

As well as enjoying Cadbury World’s zones, visitors over the festive period were treated to an exclusive pantomime, Cinderella, and the Santa show.

Overall, Cadbury World welcomed more than 648,000 visitors in 2016, making it one of the busiest years yet for the attraction.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Once again, we’ve had a very successful year here at Cadbury World. Our Christmas celebrations were the most well received yet which boosted our visitor numbers and ended the year on a high.

“We’re really pleased that Cadbury World continues to be such a popular destination for families across the UK, and that so many of them choose to celebrate the festive season with us.”
