Children’s nursery adds Wiggles & Giggles to business park

A children’s nursery has agreed a 10-year lease deal on space at Birmingham Business Park.

Forward Land Limited, represented by Savills, has let space in the Waterside Centre at the Solihull business park to Wiggles & Giggles.  The Waterside Centre is the main hub for amenities on the park.

The day nursery has agreed to take 4,507 sq ft within the property, which offers 42,568 sq ft of flexible retail and office space set around an enclosed garden.  Occupiers include sandwich bar Pane E Caffe, which recently expanded into an additional 1,574 sq ft, plus WH Smith, Morgan Sindall, Regus and Harvey Nash.

The main business park is one of the most in-demand out of town office schemes in the Midlands. It is home to major businesses including Changan Automotive, Fujitsu, Goodyear Dunlop and Rolls-Royce.

Joe Shorney, senior surveyor in the office agency team at Savills Birmingham, said: “We are pleased to have secured this letting to Wiggles & Giggles.  The nursery operator will further enhance the strong range of amenities available at the Waterside Centre, which are a key selling point for the park as a whole.”

Samantha Rutter, a director of  Wiggles & Giggles, added: “Having an office already for some years on Birmingham Business Park in another educational sector, we are very excited to have secured further premises at the centre of the scheme and to offer nursery services.

“The unit gives us lots of potential to change the layout and provide a modern and practical environment for the children where they will be able to learn and be creative with an abundance of greenery and wildlife.”
