Energy company creates 60 jobs with expansion in the West Midlands

A MIDLANDS energy company is expanding with the opening of a new office in Staffordshire, creating 60 jobs.

Derbyshire-based EnergySave has opted to set up a new base in Fellgate Court, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The company decided to open a base in the Stoke area as its customer base there grew. It also has offices in Derby, Ilkeston, Leeds, Leicester and Sheffield.

EnergySave makes wall insulation, coating systems, double glazing and conservatories, all aimed at reducing customers’ energy costs.

The company is now recruiting for the staff it needs to fill the new posts. The jobs include roles in sales, promotions, telesales, marketing and window fitters.

Craig Morris, a director at the firm, said: “Two years ago, 15 people worked for EnergySave, now we have close to 300 staff. We are constantly growing – we are the fastest growing home improvement company on the planet.

“Every week we are seeing a turnover of a quarter of a million pounds across the business.”

EnergySave is owned by millionaire Jason Rowan, who began the business three years ago after starting out selling ironing board covers on a market stall. He now rewards his top sales staff with trips to New York and Las Vegas.
