Media Buzz: Barques PR; Snapdragon Consulting; Rewired PR

National commercial property consultancy Naismiths has appointed Birmingham-based Barques PR to raise the profile of its Midlands operations as it embarks on a period of significant growth.
 
Naismiths is involved in a wide range of industrial, commercial, leisure, residential and urban regeneration projects, in Birmingham, the Midlands and across the UK. It provides key services including development management, project management, quantity surveying, employer’s agent and funder due diligence.
 
Active projects being delivered from the firm’s Newhall Street offices include developments in the West Midlands, East Midlands, Surrey, Middlesex, Worcestershire and Yorkshire.

Rebekah Paczek, managing director of Snapdragon ConsultingSnapdragon Consulting, specialists in built environment communications, has opened an office in Birmingham.

The move is in response to the strength of the regional market and the accelerating devolution agenda.

Founded in 2010, and with offices in London and Cambridge, Snapdragon works with some of the biggest property developers in the UK.

In order to exploit the opportunities across the Midlands, the firm has appointed Will Savage to spearhead the push into the region. He previously worked for Snapdragon’s London office, before moving to work in the Birmingham property market in 2016.

Mr Savage said: “Having spent the past year working in the Midlands market and with the gradual shift of investment from London to the regional economies, now is a great time to establish a firm presence in Birmingham and the wider region. With the arrival of HS2, HSBC and the mayoral elections in May, the future is looking bright with strong prospects for growth.”

Snapdragon’s existing client list includes Jaguar Land Rover and Tarmac plus house builders Crest Nicholson, Redrow and Berkeley Homes.

Kirstie AllsoppBirmingham PR company, Rewired has been appointed to deliver PR and media relations activity for Kirstie Allsopp’s The Handmade Fair in Warwickshire.

Taking place between May 12 and 14 at Ragley Hall, the event is being hosted by the Location, Location, Location presenter, together with Liz Earle and Patrick Grant. The Handmade Fair brings together Britain’s best handmade products, craft suppliers and artisan foods with expert Q&A sessions, demonstrations and workshops.

Having enjoyed three successful years at Hampton Court Palace, Rewired has been tasked with launching the additional Warwickshire fair to both regional and national audiences.  

Rewired will deliver a series of creative stunts and awareness campaigns, as well as handling media relations in the run up to the fair and during the event itself.
