Retirement development to create 25 jobs

25 jobs will be created during the building phase of an £11m retirement development in Stafford.

Developer Adlington, by Cheshire-based Adlington, is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

Brooklands House will offer 55 one, two and three bedroom apartments, offering independent living. 24-hour on site care and support will be provided for homeowners by Methodist Homes.

Claire Reede, sales and marketing manager from Adlington, said: “We are very excited to be bringing Adlington to the West Midlands and are really looking forward to seeing Brooklands House take shape over the coming months.”

It is the third site the developer has under construction, along with sites in Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire.
