Inspiring Innovation in the Black Country

The Black Country Growth Hub is challenging entrepreneurs, managers and leaders to consider what innovation can bring to their business by launching the first Black Country Innovation Event.

The event, Inspiring Innovation takes place on Friday March 17 and features special guest and double gold medal winning Paralympian Danielle Brown MBE.

Inspiring Innovation aims to encourage Black Country-based businesses to become more innovative as well as identify their current challenges and barriers to growth.

Taking place at the Molineux Football Stadium in Wolverhampton, this is a great opportunity to discover how to become more innovative and how innovation can help your business.  If you are looking for expertise and support; funding for your new product/service or advice on developing your new idea and routes to market then this is the event for you.

Laura Gabbidon, Head of Marketing at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, will be explaining how the club used innovation to maintain ticket sales and the Growth Hub will be showcasing the range of business innovation support available to help businesses achieve their growth ambitions.

Inspiring Innovation Sarah Hough, Growth Hub Development Manager, said: “Innovation is key to success in such challenging times and we want to encourage businesses to think innovatively to grow and develop.

“There is so much support available to local businesses but it is often difficult and confusing for them to know where to go for help and which partner or package is right for them.

“By attending this event we hope to link businesses with the right business support package to address their current needs and plans.”

The event is free but businesses must register via www.bcgrowthhub.com/inspiring-innovation as places are limited.
