Shakespeares is the new name for Shakespeare Putsman, Needham & James and Berryman.

Over the last year the firm has cemented its place as one of the largest law firms in the Midlands, with the addition in July 2010 of Needham and James, and in November 2010 of Berryman. Total revenue now exceeds £28m.

The firm has five offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds with 68 partners, 176 fee earners and a total of 417 staff.
