150 Midlands-based businesses attend RLB charity fundraising event

Colmore Row-based, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) welcomed 150 participants from well-known, Midland companies – and RLB clients – including Marston’s, Maber Architects and Wildgoose Construction to its annual Summer Sporting Event, held by the company for the third year running.

The annual event, held at Chasewater Watersports Centre in Staffordshire on 07 July 2017, raised funds for the David Bucknall Scholarship. A charity which helps local, under-privileged students forge a career in the built environment by obtaining a degree at Birmingham City University.

As well as giving Midland businesses a chance to get involved with a series of team sporting challenges, including cycling, a dirt run and bell boating, the annual sporting event gives participants the chance to network with top UK brands.

Adam Ellis-Morgan, managing partner at RLB Birmingham, says: “The annual Summer Sporting Event is always a great way for businesses to team-build, network and raise money for a great cause.

RLB’s Summer Sporting Event will be back in 2018.
