Prime Accountants Group expands into Birmingham with the acquisition of Rochesters Chartered Accountants

Prime Accountants Group is delighted to announce their latest expansion with the acquisition of Birmingham based firm Rochesters Chartered Accountants.

Prime already acts for many clients in Birmingham and this latest move will see Prime open a third office. Rochesters Chartered Accountants will be rebranding as Prime Rochesters and will be retaining the St Paul’s Square office location.

The expansion means that Prime will now employ over 100 members of staff with 12 directors and 2 consultants making them one of the largest independent firms in the region. The expansion increases Prime’s ability to provide clients with a range of solutions ‘under one roof’ which is far greater than that provided by a traditional accountancy practice, whilst retaining their personal approach to client service. The increase allows Prime to fulfil the strategic plans for the business and satisfy the ever increasing client portfolio.

Stephen Rochester comments “We are all looking forward to joining the Prime team and being able to draw upon the additional resource that Prime is able to offer. Our clients will of course continue to experience the same service level and contact with us as they have become accustomed to, but now also be able to benefit from an additional range of services which previously we weren’t able to provide”

Along with the merger, Nicola Davies will be appointed a Director of Prime Rochesters. Nicola, along with current Rochesters directors, Peter Hewston and Stephen Rochester, as well as the current Rochesters workforce, will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition as we enter this new stage of our business.

Kevin Johns, Prime’s Managing Director “We are delighted to join forces with Rochesters and this milestone is significant in achieve our strategic plans. We look forward to meeting the clients of Rochesters and building on these already strong relationships”.
