Connects Yorkshire Services

• Investor Readiness Programme - these free workshops are delivered by experts in their field. They provide young, growing companies with a practical understanding of key topics, such as IP protection and deal structures,that will help them get fit for finance.

• Investment Forums - held each year in June and November, allowing technology companies to present their business proposition to an invited audience of investors. Prior to the event, all entrants get valuable input into their pitch from a panel of experts to maximise their chances of success.

• MyDealMaker - Young, ambitious companies use MyDealMaker to attract investors, find key skills and get expert advice online. The web portal allows entrepreneurs to advertise a resource need and be matched up with potential providers. Additional learning resources and value-added services can be accessed via the site.

• TechTalk - Keep your entrepreneurial enthusiasm topped up-by attending TechTalk! Bringing together key note speakers, this event offer's the opportunity for delegates to debate provocative topics with the technology sector's top business leaders. TechTalk runs alongside our Investment Forums.

• Inv£storQuest - Our £1M Challenge to early stage businesses. The chosen finalists make an investment pitch to a group of venture capitalist, who together earmark up to £1M of funding to back that ‘EUREKA idea'.

• Fast Invest - Is a scheme which is able to provide unsecured loans of up to £50K with mentoring support to help businesses to turbocharge their sales and marketing activities.

• Venturefest - As part of this annual event, Connect runs a Business Plan Competition that has featured a host of companies that have gone on to raise significant amounts of equity investment.

• Springboard - In this flagship Connect programme a panel of experts, drawn from our network, provide business coaching and guidance to high growth companies at all stages of development and whether they are in digital industries, life sciences, medical devices or advanced engineering.
