As chief executive of CTP, David Topham has overseen commercial schemes of major scale designed and delivered right across the north.

At our Property Professionals Lunch in Sheffield, Topham will discuss in particular the Yorkshire marketplace in recent times and the impact this has had on commercial developments.

Principal projects that he and his team have been involved with have included St Paul’s Place in Sheffield. This most recently included 3 St Paul’s Place, which comprises of 80,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office space and completed the award-winning £180m Heart of the City project as part of the city’s transformation. It was the city’s first speculative office scheme after the crash and Topham will share his experience of being at the heart of place-changing through such schemes, helping to attract inward investment and create jobs.

In Leeds, CTP has been involved with the Round Foundry in Leeds, a mixed-use heritage-based project, as well as Granary Wharf – an office and PRS waterside project.

Topham’s projects run with a strict design led approach and he is passionate about the Yorkshire property market, notably the way in which heritage and new designs can work together well. CTP is also focused on design changes and interventions to ensure the built environment complements communities.

Overall, Topham will share his insight and opinions on the Yorkshire marketplace and what he predicts the future holds. Join us for what is expected to be a very interesting lunch.
