Jamie has worked in the Yorkshire Banking & Finance community for over 15 years in a number of Corporate Banking roles. Following 5 years with NatWest, in 2000 Jamie joined Fortis Bank (an International Bancassurance Group) where he was instrumental in establishing the bank's first regional acquisition finance team. Before leaving Fortis in late 2009, Jamie was responsible for leading the execution of leveraged finance transactions across the UK - notable transactions include the management buyouts of White Rose Environmental, A-Plan Insurance, Radius Systems and Ashtead Technology Rentals.

He joins Barclays' Debt Finance team from Santander, where he was a Relationship Director in the bank's Commercial team. Jamie has a Banking & Finance degree from Loughborough University. Married to Anne, he lives in Barnsley with his 4 children.
