Minister sees healthy future for Seven Seas

CABINET minister and Hull MP Alan Johnson visited health supplements manufacturer Seven Seas to see the company's Hull-based operation and hear about its future plans.
The visit came after Seven Seas managing sirector Tim Perman extended an invitation to Mr Johnson, Labour MP for Kingston Upon Hull West and Hessle to
visit the healthcare company which has a long established heritage in Hull and is a core contributor to the local community and economy, employing almost 400 people.
Seven Seas is part of the Merck KGAa group, the global pharmaceutical and healthcare giant, and has specialised in health supplements for more than 70 years.
Over this time its product portfolio has expanded from fish oil supplements to a broad range of vitamin, mineral and health supplements, homoeopathically prepared remedies and over-the-counter medicines.
