THE HOUSING market has some way to go before hitting the bottom of the market, respondents to a TheBusinessDesk.com survey have said.

Almost a third (31%) of respondents to our online poll said the housing market had not yet reached its nadir.

An identical number said it was too early to tell if the sector had hit rock bottom or was on the way back up.

A quarter of respondents said the market had reached its lowest point, while 13% said it was now on its way back up.
