Report identifies ray of hope in troubled commerical property market

TENANT demand across all sectors in Yorkshire continued to fall in the first quarter although the pace of decline eased back, according to RICS' commercial property survey.
Surveyors in the region said they expect rental declines to accelerate on the back of a record increase in available floor space, which has risen at the fastest pace in the survey's history.
More than 70% more chartered curveyors reported a rise than a fall in available floor space up from 55% in the last quarter.
