A £5m development which is set to transform a key site in Hull has been given the green light.

Hull City Council has granted planning permission to bring forward an 80-bed Travelodge with parking and restaurant facilities. Wakefield-based architect the Harris Partnership has provided designs for the joint venture developers, Wykeland Group and Realis Estates, on the project.
