Leeds law students honoured in legal competition

LAW students from Leeds universities have been awarded top prizes in the Leeds Legal Essay Competition.

Students studying law at Leeds Metropolitan University, University of Leeds and the BPP Law School were offered the opportunity to enter the competition, which invited them to write a 5,000 essay on topical legal issues.

Five students received awards at the prize-giving ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, hosted by Leeds Legal.

The top prize went to Leeds Met student, Tom Royston for his employment law essay.
