THE shortlist for this year's RIBA White Rose Awards includes a stylish car park and rubber clad music-rooms.

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Yorkshire has announced an extended shortlist for the White Rose Awards for Architecture 2009 following the highest level of entries to date.

A total of 16 projects have been selected by judges from 76 completed schemes that included schools, cultural spaces, restorations, new buildings, a footbridge and a car park.
